All About Us
We love surfing and building surf boards. We've built thousands, by hand, for customers all over the world. Don Laughlin started surfing in 1962 at La Jolla Shores on canvas mat, getting his first real board at 10 years old. Having shaped his first board with the guidance of Stan Jones, he's been fascinated with the art for 50 years since, drawing influence from George Greenough, Mike Diffenderfer, Skip Frye, Larry Mabile and Rusty Prisendorfer.
